In May 1953, Railroad Magazine published a complete roster of the Soo Line Railroad based on information provided by the General Mechanical Superintendent, Mr. A. G. Greenseth. That roster is presented below. It includes all locomotives, both steam and diesel, owned and operated by the railroad at that point in time.
