On June 5, we left Chattanooga and headed north, bound for Duluth Minnesota for the wedding of Anita's nephew Jon Dettmer. We stopped for the night at Rochelle, Illinois. You railfans know what's at Rochelle, don't you? | |||
The first train coming through the diamond this evening is led by a former Chicago & NorthWestern SD40-2. Is that appropriate or what?

She led a UP tunnel motor which now belongs to Helms Leasing.

Unbelievably, the second train was led by another patched ex-C&NW unit, this one a General Electric AC motor.
